Brief History
Mafi-Kumase Senior High Technical School started as a community day secondary school and was officially commissioned by Mr. Kofi Vigbedor, the then Deputy Secretary for education on the 24th of October, 1983. The school was absorbed into the public system in 1991.

OUR VISION
To bring secondary and technical education to the door-step of the majority of citizens of Mafi-Kumase and its environs, and thereby producing large literate communities which will help open the door(s) for the social, economic and political development of the area.
OUR MISSION
The missions of the school as codified down by the founding fathers are:
- To make secondary education more accessible to the majority of the youth in the area.
- It is hoped that with the acquisition of at least secondary education, majority of the citizens would live up to their civic obligations and responsibilities for the development of the area.
- To help accelerate the socio-economic and political development of the area in particular and Ghana at large

The School Crest
- Green Background: The colour of the school is green. It depicts the natural vegetation that surrounds the school.
- Hoe and Cutlass: The hoe and cutlass denote the main occupation of the community and its environs as peasant farmers
- Pen: The pen denotes one of the tools used to acquire knowledge.
- The Rising Flame: It shows that secondary education is a light on the path to promoting socio-economic and political development of the area.
- Motto: Determination and Sacrifice. The motto is the resolve of the people that though they are peasant farmers, they will use their meager income to look after their wards to acquire secondary education.
